North Platte Mapping Issues
FEMA has contacted NFDA to alert us to a resolution for an identified issue with the revised flood maps for the City of North Platte, NE. Apparently, the zone changes reflected on LOMR Case No. 07-07-0322P were intended to be reflected in the revised DFIRMs when the Letter of Final Determination (LFD) was posted, but they were not. The DFIRMs for this area are being reissued and are expected to be supplied to the Map Service Center today. Note that the new North Platte FIRMs are scheduled to become effective on January 2, 2009.
